Caernarfon Airport

Caernarfon Airport Part of the Atlantic Group, Caernarfon Air Park has something for everyone: An Award Winning Museum; excellent facilities for visiting pilots; a pleasant flying club; a convivial licensed restaurant; comprehensive aircraft maintenance, inexpensive aircraft hire and highly skilled flying tuition, all within five minutes walk of a superb beach with the Snowdon Mountain range as a backdrop, combine to make the Air Park the premier aviation resource of North Wales.

A superb aerial tour over Caernarfon Castle along the Menai Strait to Beaumaris Castle across to Conway Castle, round to the Great Orme to Llandudno and Orme's Bay viewing the Conway Valley, the mountains of Snowdonia and Penrhyn Castle.

This spectacular flight takes you over the scenic Llyn Peninsular with breathtaking views of the coastline and countryside to Bardsey Island with a panoramic view of the old Abbey, as legend has it a burial place for 20,000 Saints.

Take bird’s eye view of Portmeirion, the Italianate Fantasy Village and setting for the television series "The Prisoner". Pass Harlech Castle, the English built fortress, eight centuries old and once captured by Owain Glyndwr who held his Welsh parliament there. Return via 13th Century Cricceth Castle perched upon a ridge between two magnificent bays.

A breathtaking 20 minute experience flying over the mountains of Snowdonia, round the summit of Snowdon, the highest peak in England and Wales, over Crib Coch and Llanberis pass, then back to the airport taking in Caernarfon Castle and Fort Belen.

A twenty minute flight along the Menai Straits beside the lovely island of Anglesey, over the Menai Bridge, past Beaumaris and Penrhyn Castles, returning via the foothills of Snowdonia and Caernarfon Castle.

A short ten-minute flight takes you over the Menai Strait, around the 13th Century Caernarfon Castle and back over the 18th Century Fort Belan.
