Caloundra City is located at the southern entrance to the Sunshine Coast, a region stretching from the cool, green of the hinterland mountains to the blue and white of the ocean and beaches. The area is renowned for its proximity to the granite needles known as the Glass House Mountains. The sheer walls of these volcanic plugs punch up to the sky, a spectacular backdrop to the rolling farmlands behind. The view across the Glass House Mountains from Mary Cairncross Park is unforgettable.

It is 15 minutes by light aircraft from Caloundra Airport to Brisbane. Caloundra Airport is only a few minutes' drive from the City's commercial heart. Interstate jet flights are available from Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore) Airport, 35 kilometres north of Caloundra.

We specialize in offering the exhilaration of open-cockpit flying in our fabulous 1944 Tiger Moth (featured on this website) over some of the most beautiful scenery in Australia.

Our standard flight of around 15 minutes takes in the white sandy beaches around Caloundra, while our rides of 30 minutes or more may be tailored to suit your choice of more breathtaking beach flying, or also include the magnificent Glass Mountains and hinterland.

We also offer the rare experience (these days) of being able to teach you to fly in our Tiger Moth, as was almost universally the case in the old days; we can also satisfy your training needs (including BFR's) in your aircraft or other more modern aircraft (including C172's).
