Bartolomeu Lysandro Airport (IATA: CAW, ICAO: SBGL), sometimes also written as Bartolomeu Lisandro, is the airport serving the city of Campos dos Goytacazes, in the north of the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, located 7 km from the city center.
It was opened on October 19, 1952 and named after the Federal Congressman Bartolomeu Lysandro de Albernaz, who was also a local plantation owner and in whose land, the Fazenda Bonsucesso, the airport was built.
The airport has a total area of 949,114.04 m² and its passenger terminal has an area of 459 m². The apron is capable of holding up to 6 aircraft.
On August 28, 2009 Rosinha Matheus, the Mayor of Campos dos Goytacazes announced the intention to request Infraero the transfer of the administration of the airport to the Municipality, an idea that the Minister of Defense, under whom Infraero is subordinate, is in favor. Airlines and destinations
