Governador Jorge Teixeira de Oliveira International Airport (IATA: PVH, ICAO: SBPV) also called Porto Velho Airport, or Belmont Airport referring to the neighborhood where it is located, is the airport serving Porto Velho, Brazil. It is named after Jorge Teixeira de Oliveira (1922-1987), first governor of Rondônia.
The airport is operated by Infraero.
Some of its facilities are shared with the Porto Velho Air Force Base of the Brazilian Air Force. History
The airport was opened on April 16, 1969 as a replacement to Caiari Airport, which was then closed. The airport gained international status in 2002.
