Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport (贵阳龙洞堡国际机场) (IATA: KWE, ICAO: ZUGY) is an airport in Guiyang, Guizhou, China. The airport's modern passenger terminal includes 12 gates and a large shopping area for local souvenirs. Introduction
Guiyang Longdongbao Airport was opened on May 28, 1997. And the airport changed its name to Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport in Jan 19, 2006. It is located 11 km southeast from Guiyang's city center. It is about 4 square kilometers and has a 3200-meter long, 45-meter wide runway, which can accepting Boeing 747, Airbus A330 and lower. The terminal is about 34000 square meters, available for over 2000 passengers departing and arriving per hour. Guiyang airport is an important hub in Southwest China.

Guiyang airport has exceeded its designing number of annual passengers(5 millions) in 2009 with 5.7 millions. The airport expansion project was authorized and started in Sept, 2010, with the number of total annual total passengers capability of 15.5 millions and annual cargo traffic of 220 thousand tons per year. The total investment on it will be about 3.4 billion yuan.
