Persian Gulf Airport or Khalije Fars Airport (IATA: PGU, ICAO: OIBP) is an airport in Iran.
The airport is located 10 miles (16 km) southeast of the Asalouyeh Airport (IATA: YEH, ICAO: OIBI).The airport has being operating since 2005 and enjoys though small but one of the most modern passenger terminal buildings recently built in the region.There are frequent scheduled and charter passenger flights every day operating by Mahan Air, Kish Air, Iran Aseman Airlines, Taban Air, Saha Air Lines (with service on the last passenger Boeing 707s in the world) and Caspian Airlines to cities across Iran including Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan, Shiraz, Tabriz, Ahwaz, Rasht, Kish Island and Kermanshah with weekly international flights to Dubai operating by Mahan Air.

Development Phase
A development phase for the airport has been designed and approved by officials.The project will cost about USD62 million and includes a new 4km runway and new 14000m2 terminal with 7 air-bridge and will be connected to the current terminal by a corridor,after finishing this the international and domestic terminal will be separated but both using the air-bridges commonly.Project studies and engineering has been finished and execution activities is under preparation to be started.
