Boscobel Aerodrome (IATA: OCJ, ICAO: MKBS) is an airport located 10 kilometres (5.4 nautical miles) east of Ocho Rios, in northern Jamaica. It serves the tourist resorts in the area as well as the towns of St. Ann's Bay, Oracabessa and Port Maria.
Boscobel Aerodrome handled approximately 22,410 passengers in 2001. The airport formerly had scheduled passenger service provided by Air Jamaica Express. Facilities
The airport resides at an elevation of 90 feet (27 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 9-27 with an asphalt surface measuring 3,000 by 60 feet (914 × 18 m). There are presently no fueling facilities and the airport has no night flight operations. However, the aerodrome is currently being expanded to acccomodate International Standards and will feature a 4,800 ft. runway , landing lights, and a fueling station. The soon to be commissioned, Boscobel Aerodrome, welcomed its first international flight on Friday, May 7, 2010. The single engine private jet flew in from the Bahamas with singer/songwriter and businessman, Jimmy Buffet, of "Margaritaville" fame, being the first international passenger to be processed by customs and immigration officers at the upgraded facility .
