Firda Billag runs the bus service connecting the airport with the small town of Førde.
HistoryFørde was one of the locations that got an airport during the construction of the Norwegian regional airport network during the 1970s. The first airport serving Førde was opened in 1971 and was located at Øyrane in Førde, in the middle of an industrial area. But it was too small and a new airport had to be built, with Bringeland opening on August 30, 1986.
