Kazan International Airport (Russian: Международный аэропорт Казань, Tatar: Qazan Xalıqara Aeroportı); IATA: KZN, ICAO: UWKD) is an airport in Tatarstan, Russia, located 25 km southeast of Kazan. It services medium-sized airliners. The terminal area parks 20 aircraft. The concrete runway is built upon an older, dismantled 3500 m runway.
The airport is often called the new airport, but the main terminal is rather old looking. A new modern business class terminal has been built.
A bus runs every hour from the bus terminal in Kazan to the airport. However this service is not available 24 hours a day.
Until 2004, there was also a second airport, Kazan-2 Airport.
