Mid Wales Airport - Welshpool, lies in the beautiful Severn valley, located 2 miles south of the market town of Welshpool itself.
The airport was developed from a grass airstrip in 1990, to act as a base for companies operating aircraft in the area. As a result, there are regular company flights from Welshpool to airfields throughout the UK, and also to Europe.
Of equal importance is the airports role to provide a facility for general aviation - both as a home base for private aircraft, and to provide facilities for visiting aircraft, and of course, their passengers!
Welshpool Flying School, based at Mid Wales Airport, offers fixed wing flight training using Cessna aircraft.
You will be flying with highly trained, professional, and enthusiastic instructors. Their aim is to ensure that your training will be a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
