The following aircraft are generally considered among the class of "Regional jets" rather than than short-haul airliners, but have been included upon this list despite the redundancy. These aircraft are never flown by "mainline airlines" or "legacy airline carriers" in the U.S., but may turn up in the fleets of some "Flag airline carriers" in other parts of the world. 2000 & onward
The following short-haul airliners, have turned up at "mainline airline carriers" in the U.S. and Canada, as well as many "low-cost carriers" and even "Flag airlines" across the world, but as yet have not found a place or a home with the "seemingly perpetually struggling mainline operations at the big legacy carriers" in the United States.
